Teaching for over 10 years, my passion for sharing the art of creating music grows brighter and brighter! I learned to play guitar mostly by ear and eventually fell in love with the theory behind it. I love to cater to the player’s interests and assist them with finding the most joy and inspiration through the guitar.

For beginners, that may look like learning how to tune, learning basic chords and eventually playing your favorite songs. For intermediates, that may look like developing scales, arpeggios & more complex 7th, 9th & 13th chords, as well as developing one’s ear to truly play what you feel.

I am a huge Trey Anastasio fan and have studied him for almost 30 years. I love teaching my thoughts on his style & nuances, and have a large background of Phish songs.

I’m also a huge fan of tone! I love doing consultations on tone sculpting through the guitar, effects and amps. I’m currently in love with the Line 6 Helix effects processor, which I have some well thought out presets available for purchase on the Merch page.
